About Shine FM

Shine FM is a broadcast ministry of Soaring Eagle Promotions, a 501(C3) non-profit organization. We are a community-supported station, which means we are sustained by the generous financial support of families, businesses, and churches.

In May 2012, we launched our two stations in West Central Ohio. We simulcast our contemporary Christian music format on 88.5 FM in Kenton, and 88.9 FM in Bellefontaine. In February 2020, we added a third signal to our family… 88.9 FM in Tiffin. We became THREE signals, one station.

Our focus is to provide our listeners spiritual encouragement, build relationships in the community, and see lives transformed by the Gospel message.  We have been blessed to serve this area with a message of hope, outstanding music, and terrific concerts.  We currently host four annual concerts throughout our listening area.

We take pride in being an active member of our community and being part of events.  For the past three years, we have received the Good Neighbor Award from the United Way of Logan County for our partnership.  In 2018, we were selected as the Logan County Non-Profit Organization of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.  This award is given to an agency that shows dedication to improving lives and strengthening the community.  This is shown through utilizing volunteers and local resources to demonstrate the generosity of the community.

In November 2020, Shine FM purchased 90.7 FM WVMC from Mansfield Christian School, which also included repeater signals 91.1 FM in Ashland and 102.7 FM in Wooster.  We simulcast our contemporary Christian music format on all three of these signals in North Central Ohio (NCO).  We are “Three Signals, One Station.”

Our focus is to provide our listeners spiritual encouragement, build relationships in the community, and see lives transformed by the Gospel message.  For the past eight years, we have been used by God to serve WCO with a message of hope, outstanding music, and terrific concerts.  Our prayer is that God will use us in the same way to be a blessing to the people of Mansfield and NCO.
