The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is “Giving Tuesday”. This day is set aside to encourage charitable giving across the world.

Here at Rise FM in Bellefontaine, our focus on Giving Tuesday, November 29, is to raise funds to improve our on-air equipment.

First, we would like to replace our audio processor which is more than 10 years old.  The processor controls the audio quality that you hear when listening to Rise FM.  Upgrading our processor provides better technology for a louder and clearer sound to you and all our listeners.

Second, we would like to purchase an RDS unit that will connect with our on-air system to show the song title and artist name on your car radio.  Our cost to purchase this equipment and have it installed by our engineer is $5200.
