SCRIPTURE
Romans 3:23 – (Sin) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 – (Death) “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 5:8 – (Love) “But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 – (Faith) “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Romans 10:9-10 – (Life) “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

God has offered you the gift of salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. But a gift must be accepted! You can do that today. God loves you, and He calls you to turn away from sin and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you will do that, God promises to give you a new beginning and a new life that is both abundant and eternal. Right now, wherever you are, you can begin a relationship with God. You will never regret it.

Is there anything or anyone keeping you from accepting this free gift of salvation that Jesus offers you today? If you understand these Bible verses, believe in these truths and are willing to speak them with your mouth, this gift of salvation through Jesus can be yours. Today is the day to embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.

Dear God, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from running my own life, and now I ask You to run it. I invite You to come into my heart and life. I trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
